Rabi Lamichhane (hight: 5.7') is one of the popular Journalists of Nepal. He was born on Kathmandu on September 4, 1974, with a birth sign of Pisces (Meen Rashi). He is well known for the popular news show called 'Sidha Kura Janata Sanga' where he tries to give justice for unjustified people by identifying the root cause of the problem.
Education:
He completed his secondary education from Bhrikuti Secondary School and he went to Ratna Rajya Campus for his higher secondary education. He is Qualified as the Bachelor's and Master's degree in mass communication and Journalism.
Carrier:
Rabi Lamichhane succeeds to create a world record for hosting longest-ever television broadcast on Nepalese news channel News 24 in April 2013.
Rabi Lamichanne got the green card in 2007 for permanent resident in America. After 6 years in 2013, he returned to Nepal and started journalism with the show called Sidha Kura Janata Sanga, which got a lot of love and support from Nepalese. Many of Napalese were given justice and lots of criminals and corrupted leaders were caught. This wouldn't have been possible unless it is broadcasted on mass. Before that, he was the manager and supervisor of a Subway chain in Baltimore, Maryland.
Jail and Bail:
Rabi Lamichanne got arrested in his office (News 24) for the interrogation about the death case of Journalist Salikram Pudasaini on 15th August 2019. Salikram was found dead in a hotel room in a suicidal condition. He was arrested because he was accused in a video recorded by Pudasaini before his suicide. Later on 27th August, he was released from custody with Rs. 5,00,000 bail.
Next Project - The Leader :
The leader is a reality show that is in a process. This show is estimated to have different seasons with a minimum of 35 episodes. This is to build a powerful leader that is capable to lead this country. The candidates will be selected via audition which is gonna held for different reasons for Nepal.
