Amrit Gurung, a living legend in the sector of Nepalese folk-rock songs. He is a Singer, composer, musician and a songwriter, he is also the founder and the manager of Nepalese music band -Nepathya. Nepathya was found in 1990 by Amrit Gurung and two other students while studying in Kathmandu. He is the lead vocalist in his band since it was founded. 
Amrit Gurung was born on 1st June 1968 in Pokhara, Nepal. He is a master graduated student who completed his higher secondary education from Gandaki Boarding School. His band Nepathya has sung approximately 80 songs and among them 25 (approx.) are the most popular one. His most popular music albums are "Bheda Ko Oon Jasto", "Mero Desh", "Aaina Jhyal", "Ghatana" and so on.
